Not Only is Rand Paul Palling Around with McConnell, so is Trump . . .

One of the criticisms of Trump supporters of Ted Cruz is that he was neutral in the Mississippi Primary race of Thad Cochran and Chris McDaniel in 2014.  In fact, according to critics of Cruz, he was more than neutral because Cruz was on the National Republican Senatorial Committee ~NRSC~ when they went all in for Cochran and against McDaniel.  According to them this is proof that Cruz is not who he says he is.

Let's look at what Trump was doing during that election cycle.  He was donating to Kentuckians for Strong Leadership, which was the super PAC that went scorched earth after McConnell's challenger, Matt Bevin and the Tea Party.  That's right, Donald Trump gave $50,000 to get McConnell reelected.

Trump supporters like to say that Trump will take on the Republican establishment, but where does that faith actually come from?

Remember that Trump is the master of the "Art of the Deal."

I think I will stick to the Consistent Conservative, Ted Cruz.
Another interesting fact is the Chris McDaniel is Ted Cruz's Mississippi campaign chair, so I'm thinking that McDaniel isn't holding onto a grudge against Cruz.

  1. There you go again, using facts to make your case. When will you ever learn that feelings are all that matter? ;-)
